I have on my character sheet some handfuls of gold and 1 chest of gold.
Just got my second chest of gold… can’t seem to add more. there’s only 1 icon of chest of gold and I can’t keep adding it. Or at least I don’t know here. Could someone tell me how to do it?
A PC can only hold 1 Chest of Gold at a time. The maximum capacity is 9 Handfuls, 9 Bags, and 1 Chest. PCs and GMs are encouraged to have Gold be something that is gained in proportion to it’s spending, rather than a horded resource.

so I should spend it right away. but that then raises another question: this cap of maximum holding gold at " 9 Handfuls, 9 Bags, and 1 Chest", is it enough to buy any item in the game?
if you cap the maximum gold you can have at once, it should meet the most expensive item in the game, right?
Daggerheart does not price its items, that’s something to discuss with your GM about how they price equipment. You generally don’t have access to items beyond your Tier, as a way of pacing out your power. There are also ways to spend money outside of mechanical items, like purchasing property or mounts, investing in a settlement, paying off a debt, etc. It all depends on the setting you, your fellow player, and your GM craft together through RP and Out-of-Character discussion.
