Platform: Roll20
System: Daggerheart
Issue Level: License Paywall
Affected System: Adversary Integration
Feature: Adding Adversary Features
Current behaviour: When I add an Adversary using the Roll20 Demiplane integration I am unable to add any additional Adversary Features from the Daggerheart Core. Even though I have access to all the other core content in the Roll20 Compendium it insists I have to buy the Daggerheart Core Licence for Roll20 again to unlock the ability to add any feature not from the Quickstart Adventure.
It is as if Roll20 does not realize that I already have access to the core system when I try to add new Adversary Features.
Expected (Correct) behavior: I should be able to add any feature from any other Adversary I already have unlocked without having to buy the system again.
Reproduction:
- I bought the Daggerheart Core system on Demiplane.
- I synchronized my Demiplane and Roll20 Accounts.
- I created a new game with the Demiplane Daggerheart sheet integration.
- I enter the game.
- I open the Adversary section of the Daggerheart Compendium (which I have full access to).
- I add a Core Adversary (an Acid Burrower) to the Roll20 game.
- I open the Adversary’s sheet and click the “+ ADD FEATURE” button to open the side panel of features I can add.
- I see that all features, with the exception of those provided in the Quickstart Adventure (like Ambush) need to be unlocked by buying the Daggerheart Core system again.
I hope this is just a bug that will quickly get resolved and not a malicious attempt to get me to purchase redundant instances of the licence to get full access to all its content and features.
I really like Daggerheart and Demiplane has worked great for me so far with any issues quickly being resolved.
Thank you for all your hard work.
