The Digital Reader on D&D NEXUS brings 2024 and 2014 Dungeons & Dragons rules to life with an experience designed for every device. Enjoy enhanced tooltips, interactive sidebars, and cross-referenced rules that make it effortless to look things up mid-session or while planning your next quest.

D&D NEXUS launches alongside four new Dungeons & Dragons titles: the D&D 2024 Player’s Handbook, D&D 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide, D&D Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerûn and Adventures in Faerûn. These, along with the free Basic Rules for D&D 2024 and 2014, mean anyone can start exploring right away - no cost, no barrier, just imagination. More content will continue to arrive in the weeks ahead.

Two Experiences, One Library

With today’s launch, users with Dungeons & Dragons content on Roll20 will see that content available on the D&D Nexus with a linked account. Newly released future content will follow the same approach.

Play on Roll20’s Virtual Tabletop with integrated handouts and tokens, then switch seamlessly to D&D NEXUS to read, reference, or plan your next adventure.

No double purchases: just your Dungeons & Dragons collection on demand!

A World of D&D Content Awaits

In the coming weeks, we’ll bring even more official and third-party Dungeons & Dragons titles into D&D NEXUS, expanding the shared library.

Existing 5e NEXUS titles remain as a part of the new D&D NEXUS and today’s announcement marks an exciting opportunity for new and existing Game Masters and players to help shape the future of D&D Nexus by taking the D&D NEXUS Launch Survey.

One of the things several of us were excited about with Demiplane was that it was NOT a D&D platform. So I must admit, this stings a little.

BUT I absolutely realize that, despite everything, D&D is still the big kid on the block. D&D is still something like 80% of all TTRPG sales. And for a platform like Demiplane to have the opportunity to integrate D&D and decline on principle… that’s just financial self-harm.

The silver lining here is that Demiplane is FAR, FAR better than D&D Beyond, and will be a major thorn in the side of those… coastal wizards that some of us are still sore at.

So ultimately, it’s a good thing, even for those of us who swore never to give another penny to them.

I love Demiplane, and I am excited for what it can and will be in the future. And if that means taking funds from those coastal wizards and funneling them into our platform to make it better… I’m ok with that. =)

Peace to you!

I was actually suprise to see Pathfinder 2e outselling DnD by a lot AKA DnD wasn’t even in the top 3 of Premium modules for Foundry.

I am THRILLED to hear that!

Don’t get me wrong… I don’t want D&D to die… I just want them to stop hating us. And if that takes a +2 longsword to the purse strings to accomplish, i am ok with that.

I have fallen deeply in love with the Pathfinder 2e ruleset, though so I won’t be looking at D&D again any time soon.

Thank you so much for ensuring our purchases on R20 are credited and have value here on Demiplane!

As a forever DM who’s constantly faced with double buying, im grateful and impressed that DP/R20 has decided to NOT do that here.

We’ll continue to support you so long as this model and promise holds!!

My outstanding concern for D&D being on Demiplane is if WotC makes an… aggressive offer to buy Demiplane. If that never happens, I’ll be very happy. But now that the foot is in the door, it’s never not going to be a possibility, at least to be offered.
