I am creating a character and finding that when I fill in the top three questions in the “Answer Background Questions” that they repeat in the " The following are additional questions from The Age of Umbra Campaign Frame" answer boxes. I am unable to fill in the additional questions without them repeating or deleting in the first three question boxes.
Hey AndiiDawn, welcome to the community. I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the background questions. I wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my end though so I have a few more questions.
First, can you check and see if it’s still happening? If it is still happening is the problem that when you type in one box it’s filling another box as well?
Second, what web browser are you using?
Third, can you try another campaign frame and see if the answers duplicate there as well?
I am having the same issue and I have explored the bug by making, deleting and remaking a character while selecting different options each time for about an hour, so I can answer your questions, @Eve
First, yes it is still happening: To recreate the bug follow these steps.
Create a character
Select the Age of Umbra Campaign Frame
Select any Class (including from The Void)
Select any Core Background (not from The Void)
Fill in the background questions from your Class
Click on any other tab in the character creator, then click back, (alternatively reload the entire web page)
This causes the Class questions to be copied to the Campaign Frame questions for the Background.
Second, I am using Firefox, but I had similar results on Chrome as well.
Third, it is the same for the Witherwild.
Of note, only the Age of Umbra and Witherwild have this issue.
All other Campaign Frames lack additional questions at all even though there are questions written up in the Overview section of the other Campaign Frames.
Additionally, going back to try and write anything in the Campaign Frame questions overwrites the Class questions.
It seems as if the Class and Campaign Frame questions are being stored in the same place and are mutually overwriting each other every time any changes are made to either field.
The First Class question is mirrored by the first Campaing Frame question, the second is mirrored by the second, etc.
Thanks for the detailed replication steps! I was able to replicate the issue and I’m getting a ticket filed for us to take a closer look at what’s going on here.
