I’m starting up a new Pathfinder campaign, though this question is particularly PF-specific so I am posting here to General Demiplane Feedback. I am curious as to whether there are any updates on when we can expect some functionality to allow character sharing in groups? I am aware that you can share by direct link, but a link is sometimes hard to keep track of over the long term as texts/chats/emails happen among players and GMs. I sure would be a lot more convenient if we could just go right into our groups and see links for all the relevant characters for the campaign. I’ve searched a bit, and saw some old threads that implied that this was on the eventual to do list but those are all nearly a year old at this point and I was wondering if there were any more updates. I would love to see this happen. Thanks!

Related question…am I correct that if I save a copy of one of those shared characters, it will just save a static copy of that character as it exists at that point in time, and that if the player later makes changes, I won’t see them on my saved copy and would have to go back to the original link?
Or does my copy automatically link to the current version?
It saves as-is. Any changes you make stay on your copy. Any changes they make stay on ((EDIT: their, not your)) copy. What I usually do, is to not bother saving a copy, and just bookmarking my Players’ sheets in a single Bookmark folder, so I can easily re-open them all at once in a new window.
