Bug Report + Feedback: Onboard Rocket Pod, Excellent Quality Sniper Rifle, Eagletech Survivalist

  1. I leveled my nomad Moto Skill to 6, then selected The Grundy as a vehicle. I was able to add every other upgrade I wanted, but Onboard Rocket Pod was not selectable. It’s from the Core Rulebook, and The Grundy meets all requirements (Heavy Chassis + Not a Bike, JetSki, or Gyrocopter), but it’s not selectable.

  2. I have a Towa Type-00-Kai (Excellent Quality Sniper Rifle). I have REF 8 and Shoulder Arms 6. I also have a Smartgun Link along with required cyberware. I also have 3 points into Solo’s Precision Attack. This should have +17 total to attack. Mine has +18 for some reason. I also have Targeting Scope and TeleOptics Cyberware, so could it be possibly adding one of these in?
EDIT: I just noticed I have the Towa Type-00-Kai, one of the unique weapons from Toggle’s Temple (which are mostly just basic weapons with pre-set attachments and quality). The Towa Type-00-Kai is just an Excellent Quality Sniper Rifle with a Smartgun Link. When I created a generic Excellent Quality Sniper Rifle with the same attachment, the bonus is correct, so this seems to be an issue specifically with the Towa Type-00-Kai. I did not test on other weapons from Toggle’s Temple, so perhaps check other Sniper Rifles from that source.

  3. The Eagletech Survivalist I mentioned can be switched between Rifle mode and Crossbow mode, but the damage it deals does not change. The rules entry says it should deal 5d6 Damage in Rifle mode, and 4d6 Damage in Crossbow mode.

Feedback:

  • Sniping Scope is not factored into bonus when doing Aimed Shot. While this is conditional on 51+yds distance, it seems like there should be some sort of indication that it the player might need to factor it in.
  • Adding an option when making an attack roll to select the range increment would be cool and helpful, and it would solve the above problem. Possibly add a toggle for each weapon attack action to prompt it or not, as some players might find it annoying or tedious. It could just fly out of the Attack roll button.
  • Filtering on Weapons and Gear would be awesome, though I do generally like the way Cyberware is organized and navigated.

Thanks for such well detailed feedback and welcome to the community mbernhardt. I’ve broken all of this up into pieces for further review and passed it along to our teams.
