Bug Report: Instinct always resets to 0 when increasing stats

I figured out what happened to my stats: the demiplane character builder has a level up bug.
TL;DR: Instinct always gets reset to 0 when upgrading stats.

Here’s how it should happen, but there’s bugs where my Instinct (which starts at 1) is counted as 0 every time I try to level it up.

Starting stats: (in the order of agl str fin ins prs kno)
L1: -1 0 0 1 1 2
Note that Instinct starts at 1. I’m playing a knowledge wizard.

Here’s approximately how it should play out (something like this; I can’t quite remember what I did to get my stat spread):
L2: -1 0 0 2 1 3
L3: 0 0 0 2 2 3
L4:
L5: 0 0 0 3 2 4

Actual stats on demiplane:
L5: 0 0 1 1 2 4

I am unable to take instinct above 1. I can actually look at my instinct each time I try to level it up, including right at the start at L2, and it always says 0 → 1 even though my character started with it set to 1. I’ve upgraded it every tier, so it should be at +3, but instead it’s stuck at +1.

Is the Daggerheart builder still getting updates, or is this something likely to stay broken? I can provide a character link if needed for reproduction/examination.

Thanks for letting us know about the trouble you’re having. A link to the character this is happening on would actually be a big help for me to get a ticket filed for further investigation.

Today a staff member got back to me on the bug report I submitted (someone let me know I should do that after I posted this message). I checked my character and my base stats had been shuffled around, possibly by staff tinkering to make sure it was fixed. After restoring them to how they should be, it’s working fine now. Instinct starts at +1 and upgrades to +3 with the +1s at each tier, instead of resetting to +0 at each Increase traits step.

So it sounds like they’ve fixed it. I really appreciate the Demiplane staff for fixing this!
