There seems to be an issue with powers that modify the damage modifier.
For example on Wolverine 97:
If you toggle on either the Attack Stance or Focused Fury powers, you will see it bump the damage modifier on the sheet, which is correct.
However, if you hit the Melee Attack score button to roll, it is adding that doubled amount to the dice roll total as well as to the damage.
From my understanding of the power, it should only be affecting the damage, not the dice roll total.
For example with Attack Stance on, Wolverine 97 should be getting +6 to the dice total (his normal melee ability modifier) but +12 to the damage calculation (double his modifier to damage), but the dice result is adding 12 to both.
Or have I missed a rules clarification somewhere and it should in fact be counting to both?
I know there’s lots of errata out there.
Thanks for the report, I’ve got a request in for us to investigate this further.
Hello, just following up on this. The character sheet is still doubling the bonus to the roll itself, not just to the damage. All powers that work this way seem to be doing it too, for example Elemental Blast.
Thank you.
Adding my +1 to this one as well. I know this fix is not a quick hit (as was mentioned in today’s office hours), but it would be extremely valuable. I’ve seen this bug lead to players of mine kind of disengaging with Demiplane a bit, because they don’t trust the math, and they feel if they can’t trust it in one area, they can’t trust it anywhere.
I, too, would love for this bug to be fixed.
I’m a fan of how demiplane and roll20 interact, so I’d very much like to trust the die rolls from my DP sheet when using a focus enhancing power.
Hi Eve,
I’ve also noticed some errors in the maths of Demiplane on Marvel character sheets.
When using a power that you pay focus to increase the power’s damage, EG Smash, the sheet adds that modifier to the attack roll too. This is an error it should just be increasing the damage and NOT the attack.
I’m sure this happening to all those powers where you spend focus (usually for every 2 focus you spend you increase dam by +1) to increase the damage done on a successful attack.

Thanks, I’ve got a ticket in for this and we’re looking into it.
