Campaigns Are Here for THREE more NEXUS Platforms!

Hello, DemiCommunity!

We have been relatively quiet in rolling out this new feature (though many of you have found it!), but we released Campaigns two weeks ago! This was enabled for Pathfinder, Starfinder, and Daggerheart.

Last week, we released Campaigns for Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game and Vampire: the Masquerade (called ‘Chronicles’ for our amazing Kindred).

Yes, more NEXUS Platforms will be getting the same treatment in the coming weeks

More About Campaigns (“Chronicles” for our fang-tastic Kindred!)

In a campaign, you can:

  • Create a group for your table with a game master and players
  • Game Masters can manage which books and content are available for character creation
  • View and edit character sheets for everyone in the campaign
  • Import existing characters into a Campaign that are already built on Demiplane

Work is now underway on our second wave of features:

  • Creating a campaign-specific list of NPCs for your players
  • Adding campaign resources like notes, links, websites, and other references tied directly to your game

What is coming up?

  • Wave One of Campaigns is available right now - you can access Campaigns in the top nav of the NEXUS.
  • Following Wave Two, we’ll be rolling out Homebrewing capabilities and Encounter Building Running - the team is excited to bring these to you all. Both will be completed this year.

What about Groups?
We’ll be winding down the legacy group’s function at the end of March. These will not transfer to Campaigns so they will need to be remade in the new technology. We are going to try to communicate this in as many places as we can!

What’s Next?

If you have feedback, please give us a shout either here or on our Discord. We have a special channel in our DemiDiscord for you to drop your thoughts! Thanks for being part of this journey with us!

Perhaps it is already in the plan, but I would like the ability to add Demiplane characters as NPCs in the campaign where the players cannot see them.
I would also love the ability to search and sort on the main character page for a Campaign and see the characters and NPCs associated with it there.

Now that characters live in campaigns, the ability to plan future levels becomes even more important. You can’t be creating lots of other character copies in a campaign. It gets messy

Are GM functions limited to a single person? We’re looking at starting a Daggerheart game with a couple of co-GM’s.
