Is it possible to change the name of a group after creation? I gave mine a placeholder name because I couldn’t think of one at the time and would like to rename it now if possible.
There is not currently a way to change the name of a group. This is something we plan to address with updates to group functionality later this year.

Can a group be deleted?
It sure can! In the group settings, there is an option to delete it.

arg this is unfortunate. Being new, I named it after the players of my regular group. But i see now I should have named it just something like “Marvel 2024 XYZ”.
