One thing that really irked me when I had to unsubscribe from demiplane due to money issues is that all the non-chosen characters are just straight up deleted permanently. Would it be possible to somehow just have them be locked or inactive so that if you ever resubscribe in the future you can access them again? From a purely marketing standpoint it would give unsubscribed players a regular visible downside to having unsubscribed while not being in your face.
Hey Syll, thanks for posting about this. From my understanding when you unsubscribe it shouldn’t delete any of your characters! What should happen instead is you should see all of your characters that have been made but you’re unable to access them until you either prune down to 7 or resubscribe.

So wait are the ones that are not accessible just hidden? Because I remember pruning them but then I think it asked me to delete them and I can’t even see them even as locked.
I’m sorry this was a few months ago so my memory is a bit hazy idk but im pretty sure I didn’t manually delete 25 characters.
The ones that aren’t accessible shouldn’t be hidden no, they should still appear but require you to delete characters down to 7 before they become accessible again. If you think you didn’t manually delete characters then I believe you but we’re trying to reproduce this currently to see if it is indeed working incorrectly.
this would have happened March 10th so maybe its been fixed by now I’m sorry I can’t give you anymore information I have a terrible memory and life has been really crazy since I did it so I didn’t really think about it until yesterday
