When you are selecting ancestry boosts you are never shown the gold checkmark indicating the Ancestry section is complete. This is because the default Ancestry Boosts doesn’t count the default set of boosts for some reason. Maybe this is working as designed but it’s confusing from a player perspective.
You need to select the ability mod increase before section mark with golden checkmark
