Are there any talks happening to create a “custom class” here on demiplane?
By choosing two separate domain decks on character creation and taking the abilities of one already created subclass, you can have endless possibilities with character building. This is already something I have experimented with in my home games. A player wanted to play a spellblade style character and took the Warrior class card and features but the School of War wizard subclass. He opted to take blade domain deck from the warrior side, and the codex domain deck from the Wizard side.
This use of the creative system of the domain decks makes his character feel specifically unique, and he is able to combine these new domain deck choices with his class and subclass combinations to make something truly unique. A “custom” system that allowed players to choose a class, then one domain from that class, and then a different subclass from another class, along with a domain deck from that core classes choices, could make for a ton of amazing possibilities with gameplay and character creation.
Darrington Press has already encouraged homebrew mix and matching of domain and class combinations to make your own flavor, so I was curious if this may one day make its way to demiplane.
