Is there plans on making custom (iconic) weapons for heroes?

Homebrew is absolutely in the plans, and is currently in development!

Any updates on this? Adding homebrew weapons, items, vehicles, and narrative powers is definitely a must-have
No updates at this time, still on the list. 
Wait, so is there currently no way to customize weapons for the Iconic Weapon power, or signature weapons?
You can take an existing weapon, like knives, and rename them javelin for example. Choose a weapon which mirrors the stats or ability you want and rename. Unfortunately, there is no mechanism atm if you have a more complex iconic weapon.
