Tl;dr: press trait increase pluses fast while site is loading, profit with extra trait increases for free.
When increasing traits as part of the level-up process, due to the slow loading time to process something, if I click multiple plus buttons between the time the first plus was pressed and the end of the first one’s loading finishing, all that were pressed increase and count as only one of the two increases for that upgrade’s trait increase. This means that all 6 traits could be pressed/increased within this timeframe, with enough speed and precision, and would all count as one trait increase of the two normally given.
Slowly removing these exploited increase points only counts as “one”, and can even cause a situation where you allot a negative amount of ttait increase points. This can be remedied by the user by unallocating/removing the “increase traits” level-up option entirely, then re-adding it, then reallocating trait points in at the slow speed it takes the site to load each single increase.
This is obviously not intended, and also causes problems for future trait upgrades, due to some of the way that upgrading traits is “restricted” to not allow just maxing of some stats and neglecting others. If you use both trait-increase-allocations to increase three traits each in this manner (so upgrading all 6 with just two points), then taking the trait increase in the next level does not allow you to upgrade anything with the two points (at least, at level 2->3 it works this way, I haven’t tested the extent/depth of this bug). This is actually okay, as this actually limits abuse of this bug unless the level in which this exploit is performed is the last level for the character.
