Upon multiclassing you get to pick a subclass from your 2nd class. After multiclassing, when you choose to get a specialization feature for your subclass, you should be able to choose your subclass from your 2nd class to get this benefit for instead of your main subclass but thats not possible on the character creator.
There is a related comment on reddit from Spenser Starke that I can share if needed as well. For whatever reason, my posts and comments with the related information are getting flagged as spam.
At the moment we’re not able to use reddit comments, even from the designers, as evidence to update the character builder. It’s possible this information will make it into future errata however which we would then of course be able to apply.
If there’s anywhere you know of within the text of the core book however where this is mentioned or clarified I’d be happy to get a ticket filed so that we can investigate further.
Lastly, I believe I fixed the issue that was causing the post to get marked as spam, sorry about that!
Ohh seems like I get the advancement correctly but the issue might be with the Specialization of School of War wizard where the bonus to evasion is not showing up.
Can you elaborate on this? What I’m hearing is that the specialization for School of War Wizard should provide a bonus to evasion but it’s not actually doing so. Is that right?
Looks like it’s set up correctly on my end and should be providing that evasion as long as you have 2 Hope. I’ll get this over to the dev team for further investigation. Does this mean that the initial issue of not being able to unlock the specialization on your second class is not actually an issue?
Edit: I went ahead and tested the subclass multiclassing issue and confirmed that it is working correctly.
