the find familiar spell grants the caster the ability to recast the spell to change the creature formed. its not a one cast and thats it. the tab should maybe have an option to create multiple Familiars to be saved to allow players the ability to create a few creatures they may want to swap in and out. there is a way to edit the existing but that may be time consuming especially in a fight. also for 1 AP the PC can pocket the familiar into a pocket dimension and then re-summon same creature for just 1 AP. i do not see that as a to do that either as an action when
Thanks for the request. I’ll pass it along!
i just found a flaw in the Familiar feature. in the DC20 rules there are 2 spell actions you can perform with the Familiar. pocket Dimension, and Shared sense. neither of them show up anywhere in the character sheet when I “summon” a familiar. below are the descriptions of both actions.
Spell Actions
Pocket Dimension: You can spend a Minor Action to
dismiss the Familiar into a pocket dimension, summon it
from that pocket dimension, or summon it from anywhere
on the same plane of existence. When dismissed, any items
it was carrying are left behind. When summoned, it appears
in the nearest unoccupied Space of your choice.
Shared Senses: While your Familiar is within 20 Spaces,
you can spend 1 AP to connect your senses to the Familiar’s
senses until the end of your next turn. For the duration,
you’re Deafened and Blinded to your own senses but you
can see what your Familiar sees and hear what it hears. The
connection ends early if either of you moves farther than 20
Spaces from each other.
My dev team just let me know that in the Find Familiar Spell you can summon new familiars and mark which one is active.

The information about Pocket Dimension and Shared Senses is similarly available within the Find Familiar spell. I can see an argument for having those on the sheet though so I’ll put in the request.
