The demiplane system has been pretty strong so far, and its links with Roll20 games have been pretty smooth. One feature I enjoy in roll20 internal sheets that I have missed with Demiplane sheets is the ability to click on a feature and have it shown in chat. It’s a very useful tool when explaining what you are doing or asking the DM if a feature is relevant.
I am currently playing in a Daggerheart game using DP and R20 for reference. And for DP in particular, I would think this wouldn’t be too much of a stretch when most abilities are already sorted into cards. But whether it’s done that way or some other fashion, it would help a lot with using Demiplane sheets in VTT games.
Hope that makes sense, happy to provide additional context as needed.
Thank you!
Man, I was just griping about this today. Our group is in the middle of planning an SF2 stream, and we were trying to decide whether we wanted to make the PF2 Roll20 sheet work or use Demiplane.
Apparently, this has been a popular request for over a year, but there hasn’t been any movement of confirmation that it’s even being worked on.
To the devs: This is not a trivial feature for GMs. One of the reasons I moved my groups (even in person) to VTTs was so I didn’t have to constantly look up every single feat or spell or item during a game. Having all of this information posted in chat speeds up games by an incredible amount. Honestly, I would rather have THIS and still have to cludge my sheets together by hand.
I completely understand. Like kcunning said this is a feature that has been requested for quite some time. I’ve been collecting user feedback from folks asking about this so I’ll get your request added to that ticket.
