Forums show date in locale format rather than always US

The dates shown in the Forums are always in the strange US format, showing either “Feb 21” or “Feb, '21”.

Can this be changed to use the locale of the timezone/browser, so that the rest of the world can see more useful dates, such as “21 Feb” or “Feb 2021” - which is always much clearer than looking to see if there is a little tick-mark before the number.
