Hi! I’ve been searching around the site and the forums and can’t seem to find specifics. When will the Hope & Fear preorder actually drop? We’re starting to get the physical copies and PDFs from CR, so hoping it’s soon so we can build characters with the new material. Cheers.
I know reviewers are getting copies but general release was estimated for August 25, 2026 for CR and Darrington press stores and retailers like amazon, a month or so later.
They’re actually already shipping preorders. I just got my tracking number and other preorder customers are posting pictures of their items 
It’s exciting, of course, to get stuff early. Was just curious if they’d connected with Demiplane on it and if this would affect the drop/release date.
thats exciting then :). I just went on their store and pre-ordered it now. was going to wait but I saw they included the PDF and 20% off demiplane so figured I would order it direct.
Yeah, started reading through the pdf a couple days ago. It looks really great. We’re doing our next long campaign in Daggerheart, so the new material comes just in time for my players and I to integrate it before we start.

Nah, they’re rolling out all over. Customers reporting getting them in the US, Australia, UK, and Canada. In the DH subreddit one of the DP folks reported that preorders are being fulfilled in all regions. So good news all around.

I just got notice that the book is being prepped for shipping (label created) and i’m in canada and I messaged them about the discount to see how I get that.

I got a reply back and they said if you pre-ordered after April 14th then the codes will be delivered August 25th.

Interesting - wonder if I can get a credit for the difference lol. I’ll have to find the email receipt! 
I assume that means those that preordered before would get their codes sooner.
I would just contact them and see what they could do for you. Especially if you preordered through their shop
I looked up my receipt - I got my code and discount. All good!

While Hope & Fear is available earlier from Critical Role’s storefront, Digital Partners and Darrington Press Guild Stores are set to release the full Hope & Fear product on August 25 as part of the product’s global launch.
