Sharing links to places like Facebook where you posted the issue is not really good form on a forum like this. Please post the actual issue here instead of a link that people are not likely to want to follow.
I’m not sure how to describe it, but here goes: whenever I click the button to increase the ability score, it sometimes messes up the points. It undoes the increase, giving me the point back, and then reapplies the increase without actually using or spending that point.
Definitely odd. We appreciate the report! When you say it sometimes messes up the points is there anything you can do that causes it to happen consistently?
That I can’t explain, sorry. All I know is clicking speed and staying or switching stats don’t matter it’s random.
Well, thanks again for reporting the issue. We’ll keep an eye out and if we come across a way to replicate it then we can try and get the problem fixed.
So, I watched the video you posted on Reddit. You never actually show how you got your Abilities up to the overspending point. And you don’t actually show the spot on the window where it tells you how many points you have left to spend. In this case it should show a negative number. There are two ways to ‘overspend’.
- Spend points at a higher Rank then reduce your Rank.
- Add in Extra Ability Points then clear that custom field.
I tried to reproduce your bug and could not, so it has to be one of those two options. If you can reproduce it, you should make a note of the steps you used to do so.
Okay. For some reason it looks like that character is receiving 6 Ability Points per Rank instead of 5. I Ranked him up to 2 and he has 12 points instead of 10. If you create a totally new Character, does it act the same?
It’s random, I try to film it from scratch and can’t do it.
