The small forest settlement of Khotarana lies far to the east. Its denizens had lived peaceful yet somewhat secluded lives in harmony with the local Siswa population, a spiritual order of Wood Elves, until one day things took an alarming turn: as a thick blanket of impenetrable darkness spread over the land, rumors were heard of the ascetic Siswa behaving in increasingly disturbing fashion: what happened in the depths of their holy site at the foot of the Grey Mountain and could whatever evil dwelt there be confounded ?
This will be an adaptation for Shadowdark of the old B/X module B7 ‘Rahasia’ by Tracy and Laura Hickman. The idea is to start this as a series of (ideally) careful forays into the main temple but keeping options open if the party wishes to go for more of an ‘open world’ feel, so options for eventually going towards wilderness exploring & other types of hexcrawl etc are definitely not off the table !
