We don’t have any details to share regarding this - if Marvel decides to go that route when the full game comes, we would do all we could to work with them on it.
We are not aware of any PDF plans from Marvel. If that changes, we will let everyone know.
Hi - in terms of the app side of things, is it only accessible via the website or will there be an app on Google store, Amazon store, etc?
Or do I just access it via a web browser on my Kindle and Samsung phone?
Thanks!
Looking forward to playing in the Marvel Multiverse.
The Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game Nexus works great in a browser on any device. All screen sizes are supported, so you should be able to use it easily from all of your devices!
I don’t know if it’s just that I’m confused or if I’m missing something. But I can’t find the character sheets anywhere for the marvel RPG. I purchased the playtest rule book and I have access to the content I created a portal. But I don’t see where to create character sheets anywhere. Am I doing something wrong or they just not available yet?
I’m not seeing mention of character builder tools, just links to the character sheets provided on Marvel’s website. Are character building tools planned for the future?
There are no character tools planned for the playtest. We’ll be sharing more about our long term plans as we get closer to the full release of the game. All in due time.
I’m sure I probably dinked something up, but I did the preorder and it says I would get access to the playtest files (if I used the code, which I did) yet I still don’t have access. Did I do something the wrong way?
Howdy there, friadoc! If you’re unable to access the Playtest Rulebook still, please reach out to our Support team who will be best able to assist you get your digital hands on it!
Just with the above, why is it that you guys have said you have the ‘Official’ digital tools yet they are still in development while Roll20 had a full set of tools like a Dice Roller and Character Builder on day 1?
Before the end of the year (likely early Q4). We’ll share more details as soon as we are able to.
Because Demiplane is a newer platform, and the pilot for our character tools (with the Pathfinder 2e game) just recently entered beta. We have now released character tools for Avatar Legends, and Vampire and Marvel are in progress. We also didn’t have the license for the full game until a few months ago - behind the scenes things sometimes take time that no one ever sees.
Lastly, our content and character tools take a different approach than other places the game is offered, so Demiplane is the official digital toolset, whereas Roll20 is the official VTT. There are different options depending on how your group likes to play.
Was this well advertised for the consumer? I wasnt aware that not all the features would be available at launch. If id known, probably would have waited or gone elsewhere
