Marvel Multiverse RPG Question "noob alert"

Hello. I’m very new to this but i’m interested in the Marvel Multiverse RPG. I love how you can create your own characters on here and print them off. First off, what is the benefits to using this website vs playing just the physical game? Next I see you have a package for like $150-200 that unlocks everything. Will I be able to share all that content with friends as that’s a lot of money to invest in a new hobby but I would consider it if we all can use it to play. That being said I know for a fact none of my freinds would ever spend that kind of money just for a random complicated new hobby. So what are my options? How can I use this website? What’s the score here? And, Thanks for your time and helping out a noob…

Sharing book content is separate from purchasing book content.
Sharing book content is possible with a Monthly Subscription. You can share your entire purchased library with up to 24 people when you get a subscription. Subscriptions also give you unlimited Characters.
Character Tools are available for all Nexuses (that have them, sorry Hunter and D&D), without a purchase, but in a limited context.
Purchasing a book gives you access to everything in that book for the Character Tools.

The Bundle deal is a Discount compared to buying the books individually. PLUS, that discount is yours forever, towards new/future books.
BUT, if you can’t (or don’t want to) drop a fat wad on the Bundle now, the price you pay for the books will be deducted from the Bundle when/if you ever do buy the bundle… Such that it basically retroactively gives you the discount on those books that you had bought at normal price.

Thanks for this thorough breakdown. I will probably just buy the “rule book” to start. That’s good to know that I can still get the bundle discount and not have to pay full price if I do decide to get the expansions. I’m a little bummed about the whole monthly subscription thing though. Is it possible to play the game on here with a party or even solo with others? Just seems like you get little bang for your buck here just to play an rpg board game. Should be like $20-60 for everything w/ unlimted play and sharing in my opinion especially since there no real digital game interface to speak of atleast from what I see. Are there any better alternatives that actually provide a digital interface like an invite feature, virtual dice, virtual board, shared info and functional gameplay mechanics? Also be cool to have an AI driven narration system that’s prompt based. Sorry for all the questions, just a noob here trying to learn and understand what’s possible. Thanks again…

Pretty sure buying the Marvel stuff here unlocks in on Roll20 as well, giving you VTT support there. A subscription to one (DP or Roll20) covers both, so it’s a pretty good deal…

Just wanted to chime in and say that currently a Demiplane subscription doesn’t get you a Roll20 subscription but a Roll20 subscription DOES get you a Demiplane subscription.
