So Beyond20 is a VTT dice roller that integrates with D&D Beyond and VTTs, is there any chance we can get something similar for Demiplane to integrate with something like Roll20?
Beyond20 was not made by either DnDBeyond nor other VTTs. It was made by an independent 3rd party, leveraging browser features and API tools.
So folks could already do something similar if they knew how and wanted to.
That said, since Demipane is now own by Roll20, they are planning on having some integration between the 2 sites. Starting with the Cosmere system, then ((hopefully)) other systems.
Separately, but likely (hopefully) related, they have stood firm on their commitment to creating a platform independent API of their own. The ground work for that API is how some systems on Demiplane now have PDF export of the character sheets.
So, Hopefully, in the coming year, we will see both an official Demiplane/Roll20 Integration and easier to build 3rd party tooling, like Beyond20.
I’m similarly hopeful for some Demiplane integration with a VTT… was hoping for Foundry or Fantasy Grounds, but I’ll take what I can get.
