For context, this has always been messed up:
2025.07.13
Following up on my previous posts (April & October 2024) about Ultimate Bundle update pricing vs. buying books individually:
Today, I checked for new Pathfinder 2e books not in my library. There were 31 titles I didn’t own yet. Here’s what I found:
“Update Ultimate Bundle” price: $557.32 (for 31 titles)
Manually adding the same 31 titles to my cart: $542.69
I double-checked that these were exactly the same items. After purchasing them individually, the Ultimate Bundle disappeared…
The Ultimate Bundle update is $108.67.
If I add the same 10 items to my cart individually, it’s $104.90.
So, the convenience of updating with one button has a $3.77 fee?
That’s not as bad as the $14+ convenience charge on the PF2e bundle, but this is still more than a rounding error.
The playtest bundle goes the other way, but is the playtest bundle discount meant to stack with the ultimate to give a 15% discount?
