Apologies if this has already been discussed, but I didn’t see anything on it. When I click on the very convenient “my library” button it opens a side window and shows me my books. That’s fine, but when I select a book it also loads in the side window and there doesn’t seem to be anyway to make it go into full screen view. Now if I go into my digital library from Pathfinder 2e Nexus - Digital TTRPG Toolset (demiplane.com) everything loads full screen and it works great.
Is this a known issue with the “my library” button?
It is nice to have the option to have it on the side, but I’d like to be able to make it go full screen too - like it is in the other view. And the “my library” button is great and easy to use/find, but because the books are stuck in that little window I’m not using it.
The key thing with the ‘My Library’ option is it is unfinished and unpolished at this stage.
We intend for it to be a place to quickly access anything on your virtual “shelf” quickly and easily wherever you are in Demiplane, and what we have out there now is a base starting point.
I will state that all Digital Reader content has a max width of 800 pixels (or the size of the “tablet” view in My Library because going wider than 800 pixels creates accessibility issues and makes reading long text difficult for some users. So what you see in that sidebar is actual as wide as the content will go, and that is by design.
We’ll be adding much more to the feature as we continue down the road in Early Access, including the ability to sort and filter the library, go fullscreen easier, etc.
In the meantime, you might enjoy the reading experience more from the Sources page, where each book opens in the full window.
