Need help for a screen reader user

Hello
I use both JAWS and NVDA, and I am having a massive problem with the Pathfinder 2 demiplane builder. First off, I can’t properly access the builder unassisted as as soon as I press Enter on the “Build” button to launch the builder, all that appears to my screen reader is “Nexus loading”. I had to have a sighted friend help me and apparently that’s the first link which is hte PF2e builder. Please fix this as the actual builder is functional, but if I can’t access the builder, it doesn’t matter how accessible the builder itself is.

Secondly, the equipment addition is completely useless unless I want to only add a quick equipment package. It’s the only item that appears on my builder despite being a level 3 starting character, and I have access to a large variety of books, so I don’t know why other options aren’t appearing. I tried searching online, and the only thing I could find was “add it on the character sheet section”. I tried to do this, and I literally cannot access any information other than my current currency totals.

Finally, there are a variety of unlabelled buttons throughout the builder, though for the most part I can guess with some level of accuracy what 90% of the buttons do. It’s still a big problem since I have to use trila and error to complete the character creation process. I am happy to work with whoever is in charge of the site or at least the Pathfinder 2 section to get this fixed, but as it currently stands I cannot successfully create a character from start to finish. It would be very nice if I could as Roll20 - which is what my group uses primarily - is integrating Demiplane, adn I can only build each aspect manually from scratch on there so having an automated way that is actually functional with a screenreader would be unbelievably helpful.

Hi Quantam_Xaositect, I appreciate you taking the time to give this feedback and I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been unable to completely make a character unassisted.

I know how important this kind of accessibility is and I’ve passed along the information you provided to our dev team so that they can see what needs to happen to improve this experience. If they need any further information I’ll be sure to let you know.

I do provide accessibility testing as an independent contractor, so I am happy to have a zoom or discord session with the devs if that would be helpful. I would also love it if the equipment problems could get sorted. Thanks for hearing me out!
