Are there any plans to use Demiplane Monster stat blocks in Roll20? I think I read something about it maybe happening in a blog post, but can’t remember. It would be pretty rad if true. Either way, this is super awesome. Keep on rocking, Demiplane devs!
Initiative rolls for MMrpg from Demiplane sheet do not post to roll20 turn tracker. Is there a solve for this or is it on the to-do list? Also still getting this error ‘TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘advanced’)’ when trying to use roll20 text chat.
I’m trying it out and liking a lot of what I see. It seems like a nice shortcut for implementing a number of game facing features like shared rolls and stuff so that Demiplane doesn’t need those features independently… (even though I’d actually prefer to use owlbear rodeo for battlemaps if I could have a shared roll feature for Demiplane like avrae to discord)
I think my first question though is that subscription to roll20 is almost the same price and includes demiplane subscription perks (unlimited characters and content sharing). Is there a way that my demiplane subscription can be rolled over to give me the first tier of roll20 subscription benefits or should I just cancel my demiplane sub and sub with roll20 to get the benefits of both? Is there any or going to be any differentiating features in the future that mean I should keep my demiplane sub rather than cancel and resub at roll20?
TBH I’d rather keep my sub at Demiplane, but if I can just swap it over to Roll20 and get extra benefits it seems like it’s intended for me to swap my sub over on next renewal
I’m glad you’re liking it so far! We are actively working on the tech to allow for a Demiplane subscription to grant the Roll20 benefits, but that’s not quite there yet. We will shout from the rooftops when we have that available, but for now only the subscription on Roll20 grants the benefits of both.
When we roll off the Demiplane character sheet, that it and Roll20 will show which Power was used as well - not just the Stat.
And, be able to set the Damage Reduction before AND After the roll (and it recalculates the damage).
Be able to send the Power, Trait, Tag, whatever - to Roll20 Chat window, like how Roll20’s character sheet does it - so that everyone can read the text.
And, of course, you all are working on the Edge/Trouble rolls - hopefully it’s coming out soon.
Noticed you cannot populate token bubbles with info from the DP sheet (i.e. HP and AC) like with the Roll20 built in sheets. Is this functionality coming?…
Thanks for the wishlist! A couple of those already have tickets made for them so I’ve added your voice to the request to make sure folks know that this is something multiple people are requesting. We really appreciate all the feedback and feature requests we’ve been getting since this release, it helps us to make things even better for y’all.
Anyway, I tested and confirmed that it’s working on my end for the token bubbles. If you navigate to Advanced Tools on the character sheet does the number next to Attributes say 431? If not then I experienced a bit of a wait the first time I used an integrated Demiplane sheet in Roll20 but it went away on it’s own. I’ve heard that logging out/back in on both sites may also help resolve that issue though.
If it DOES say 431 next to Attributes and your token settings look like how I have them in the screenshot let me know and we can try to narrow this down a bit more.
If that doesn’t do it and it’s still not working after about 24 hours let me know and I’ll get it escalated up the chain. My experience so far though is that it should fix itself and then stay fixed.
I’m asking more about this internally so hopefully I’ll have an answer soon. In the meantime would you mind PMing me a link to your game? I’d like to see if I have the same issue loading into your game.
Just in case support hasn’t had you try this I heard back from one of our head tech folks and wanted to pass on what he had to say.
It may help for them to sign out and back into demiplane if they have had their session for some time. We recently pushed a fix for a bug that caused some sessions to be malformed
