Pathfinder 2e Characters not 'copyable' to other players

I walked through character creation for three players and then levelled them all to level 7.

I then made the characters viewable for everyone with a link.
I shared the link.

None of the players (who are in my ‘group’ of shared books etc) were able to copy their characters to their account. The option wasn’t even there.

I had to make a copy of the characters on my account (deleted the originals afterwards) and share THAT link and then the players could copy it to their own accounts.

I had to do this with all three players and their characters.

I noticed this the other day also. If they have Edit rights they can not save a copy, because they can just go back and edit the character. Take edit privileges away from the character and it will offer to save a copy to their account. Seems a little counter intuitive. I would like a ‘Save Copy’ button in both situations.

Thanks for letting me know about this. It actually caught a few of us by surprise. I’ve got a ticket filed for us to investigate further and see what we can do to potentially allow you to save a copy of the character sheet even if you have edit permissions on it.
