Are we supposed to be able to have a primary and secondary weapon active at the same time? As a ranger, I can only have my bow or my shortsword active but not both. Is that by design?
Bow is a two-handed weapon, so you can’t hold a secondary weapon with it. To use a primary and secondary weapon, you need to have your primary be one-handed.
Thanks for the clarification. A suggestion then would have it as dual wield. To me and others I know, secondary means backup.
The rules are pretty clear in regards to how weapons work in Daggerheart. It’s easy to skip rules and just jump right in when you’re excited, especially when it comes to things like character builders, but I think it’s worth checking out the rules relating to a confusing aspect of the game before assuming it’s a bug and reporting it.
