So little disappointed

So invested in the Fallout 2d20 stuff on Demiplane…and I am less them excited. the character creation is clunky and has errors (to be expected) but they promise of content is the most disappointing. I really hate having only half the content out there. When originally posted I was told that they will work on the entire library and the next book Settlers Guide (a major book) would be second quarter. In the last post I was told it is not even on the backlog to be worked on. I get it you are a business but I feel in the future I will hae to wait unitl the game is complete (enough) before investing.

Hopefully this will change…is the backlog open for us to see before we start spending money?

I’m very sorry for the disappointment. I can promise that we are still working on Settler’s Guidebook but I don’t have an ETA for when it’s going to be released. Our roadmap/backlog is unfortunately something that can’t be shared. It can, and does, change quickly sometimes.

I get the frustration. The thing is, these things WILL come to Demiplane. and as somone who has been using the site since its Beta, I can tell you the site has done wonders for my games: I use it for Pathfinder 2e, Starfinder 2e, Marvel Multiverse, Cyberpunk, and Daggerheart.

The character creation systems are always improving. having the books available digitally, to search or share or copy from, is GAME CHANGING for people like me who do most of their game prep on a screen (I can copy this passage straight to my Google Doc prepsheet? Yes please!) and I can share them with my players as well: Someone doesn’t know what an ability or a spell does, I can shoot them a link.

So while I understand wanting everything to be already done, patience here is rewarded. The staff are so nice and they’re working hard to take care of us: I, for one, am very grateful for all that they do.

Peace to you.

Very much agree.

The character creator is significantly better than doing it manually, especially when in comes to picking perks.

I’m currently holding off a campaign until the Settlors Guide is available, as most of my party wants to use the perks from that book. I’m surprised that the Demiplane release date wasn’t lined up with the Modipheus release date, which is what you would expect from other sytems and digital tabletops.

Also, no homebrew options yet, so my New Zealand themed Fallout campaign is also on hold.

Also, not much information on how the intergration with Roll20 works. At the moment, I can’t get comependium to work. There appears to be no help or guides regarding this.

But is saying all that, Demiplane is pretty good. Being able to export the character sheets as form fillable PDFs is a great idea. The compedium within Demiplane is very easy to search and presented in a very easy to read way. I could easily see Demiplane becoming my main digital resource for many systems.

It has certainly become my main resource. I primarily run PF2e and SF2e, and it’s fantastic for those systems, but I just saw this morning that they added a DC20 nexus… So excited about that one!! =)

There are big things in the works for Demiplane: Hopefully you can find a way to make your Fallout campaign work in the meantime. =)

Peace to you!

Right adding stuff all the time…just wish the eould finish stuff. I play PF2 and SF2 also…but think about how you feel if Player Core got support but not Player Core2. Settlers guide is one of the core books in the system…just disappointed

I’ve been using Demiplane since early 2023… in that time I’ve experienced what you’re talking about in my Pathfinder games.

So I get it. I do.

All I can say is that these things take time, and the Demiplane crew is working hard to bring them all to reality. Give it time, and that patience will be rewarded with Demiplane’s amazing platform.

Peace to you!
