The “cast” spell button on our character sheets has never worked since we started using Starfinder 2e. Is this a known problem or an unimplemented feature?
Can I ask what you’re expecting to happen when you click cast? I want to make sure I get you the correct answer here based on the expected outcome!
My group expected that when we click a “cast” button for a spell, we would see the spell appear in the chat on Roll20, and, depending on what the spell does, roll dice for us, like clicking an attack button for a weapon.
Does the button currently do anything?
Okay thanks, that’s what I thought you were referring to. There is not currently a way to send spell details to chat unfortunately.
It’s a hotly requested feature, one that I’m personally eagerly waiting for. I have a ticket open currently where I’ve been collecting requests for it to let our devs know how much folks want to see it added so I’m going to add this there.
As for the button itself it should mark off a use of the spell on the character sheet.
