Starfinder 2e Sheets and NPCs

Hi,

I am planning to run Starfinder2e Murder in Metal City on Roll20 soon. I got the module here on Demiplane and the game and some assets became available on Roll20. I have two questions.

  1. I see the demiplane sheet integration. I know a lot of work went into that and I appreciate it. What I don’t see is a way to create an NPC/monster sheet and no such sheets are present for the adversaries in the module. Do you have suggestions or workarounds for this? Is there development in the works?

  2. The module assets seem to lack the usual “polish” like tokens placed on maps, prepared handouts, etc. Is this just because this is a first Starfinder 2e module with a new game release? Or is the Starfinder 2e module setup standard different from what we have come to expect with Pathfinder 2e modules?

Though my setup for this game is slightly bumpy, I greatly appreciate what Demiplane offers gamers. You’ve done a great job.

Sorry for the confusion! I can definitely answer these for you though.

  1. Sheets can be brought into Roll20 by navigating to the Compendium Tab in Roll20 with the SF2E character sheet selected for the game and selecting Creatures. There’s an add button next to them that will add the creature to your game for use. I checked with the team who made the module and they confirmed that all the creatures from Murder in Metal City should be there. Finally, a caveat to this, we don’t have tokens hooked up just yet which means that once you add a creature to the game it will have a default token until you change it to something else.

  2. You’re right that the current module assets don’t pack the same punch as most of our PF2E releases. It will though! The initial release for Murder in Metal City was a map/token/art pack rather than a full fledged VTT Companion. We plan to release the VTT Companion for this module at a later date once we work out a couple of sticking points that currently prevent it from being the best it can be.

I don’t think there’s anything you necessarily should have read. We made some announcements about both of these here and in our Discord I believe but I can’t fault someone for missing those they tend to have a lot of information in them!
