Hello, Demiplane Community! Long time listener, first time caller.

My name is Meredith Gerber and I am the Partner Marketing Manager for Demiplane / DriveThru / and Roll20! It is a pleasure to meet you!

Mellie and myself had a BLAST today in our Year in Review Office Hours!
Not only did Mellie and Sam do a giveaway for each Nexus, but we had the honor of hanging out with the community to review this past year.

While we had so many incredible releases and updates this year, we highlighted the following NEXUS launches and Character Tools:

  • Alien the RPG Nexus Launch (I also learned today the character sheet has two interactive elements?!)
  • Daggerheart Open Beta
  • Starfinder 2e Playtest
  • Cosmere Open Beta
  • Cyberpunk RED

Some features we are thrilled we released:

  • Export to PDF
  • Companion Sheets
  • Like4Like
  • Card Systems
  • Crafting and Alchemy
  • Active Effects

In 2023, Demiplane releases ~60 titles.
This year, Demiplane has released 105!

Then, we discussed what (some) big features are coming along with (some) new partners we are thrilled to work with in 2025!

Those big feature focuses are:

  • Continued & Expanded support of current NEXUSes (We’ll keep going deeper into support here!)
  • Roll20 Integration
  • GM Tools

And the three new publishers we announced are:

  • Modiphius Entertainment
  • Mongoose Publishing
  • Sine Nomine Publishing

We are so excited for 2025 and we’re glad you have been here for the ride so far. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Hi,
You guys really did a lot this year, and the character tools in particular have come a long way. You’re awesome.
I’m a little confused by the title of this post though. It says “Upcoming Features,” but there appear to be none written into the post. Could you list some of them for those of us who couldn’t make it to office hours?

Absolutely! We previewed three of our ‘main’ focuses, along with three new partners we’ll be doing a NEXUS for in 2025. (And that’s just what we’ve previewed, and of course not everything we’re doing in 2025 :wink: )

The 5e character tools are part of this or were those plans they canceled? I would love a Tales of the Valiant character tool…

I’m very excited to see what’s to come. I have a D&D campaign wrapping middle of next year likely, and am looking forward to running a PF2 campaign with Roll20 and Demiplane.

Just a couple of questions if you have answers for them currently, but I understand if that’s not quite possible at the time.

Roll20 Integration: Does this by change mean those beautiful PF2 character sheets in Roll20?

GM Tools: Any chance we could get an example or three of what this would look like? Maybe GM being able to make changes to sheets (adding items and what not)

Great question! So, with the integration, you’ll be able to pull your Demiplane Sheets into the VTT. There’s an article here that should explain a bit better than I can :slight_smile: We will, of course, be releasing more information as we get closer but release will be in 2025.

GM Tools: Any chance we could get an example or three of what this would look like? Maybe GM being able to make changes to sheets (adding items and what not)
Also a great question! We are JUST starting the process! If you have feedback for what you as a GM would like, hop into our Discord and go to Demiplane > GM Experience Channel. Mellie is currently asking the community what they would like to see!

@Damian 5e is a part of the “current NEXUS” bucket! Not canceled at all.

But there is no ETA on the character tools or am I missing something? They were “WIP”, but then the status changed to “REDACTED”. Now we are getting character tools for upcoming RPGs which is great, but I was wondering, why there is only silence about 5e.

No date yet! We don’t share dates until we are 10000% certain, so you’re more likely to see a date when we’re a month or less away from release. :smile:

Hi Meredith!
In the linked article it notes that I should have received an email to make my demiplane pathfinder 2e purchases available on roll20. I don’t believe I ever received that. Who should I check with to get it completed?
