Hey everyone, I want to start a conversation on what things we would love to see as players and GM’s so that the staff have directions on what would be most useful for them to direct their efforts. I plan to share some of my hopes and dreams here but I would love for others to post their thoughts.
I mainly GM for campaigns and I would love if when I add players to my group, I had more control or visibility over their characters. I would love to be able to monitor their character sheets throughout a combat encounter so I don’t accidentally wipe players with events when I don’t want to or I can know how to best challenge them using the NPC’s.
Going along with that I would love if I could easily create sheets for NPC’s. For example, I am doing the stone walkers campaign with a group right now and I would love before a combat to click create NPC and quickly pull from the database 8 bandits instead of having to write out 8 bandits on paper and keep track of all their stat blocks and action points and so on. Of course creating custom characters for this purpose as well would be great.
I don’t see a way to create new Journal entries, I would love to flush out a lot more content in the groups section of Demiplane in general.
I want to be able to interact with my players characters more in Demiplane. I would love to just drop an item into the inventory of a character during a special moment or as part of a plot. I would love to be able to request rolls by the players as well.
A lot of my players bring laptops or ipads to have access to demiplane while we play so having these tools would help for keeping track of the tricky stuff during a session.
I will probably have many more thoughts but I just wanted to see if other people want to share their hopes as well and gives the staff things to work towards. I love the progress so far!
