It is a shame that you do not offer more free stories since they are availabe on Renegade for FREE. I know you have to get license/permission, but these are FREE. Obviously, the theatre of the mind can be used, but recreating the PREGEN characters sucks especially for FREE S stuff.
Obviously, it would be nice to have a few paid stories (adventure paths/modules), but I hope you’re working on “Courts of the Damned.”
Hey @TygerxEyes - Licensing and permissions do tend to complicate things - even if they’re available at no cost (sometimes those can be the most difficult, in fact!). Having the specific list is a big help, though.
No promises on anything, but it’s good to know where demand is bubbling up. I appreciate you taking the time to share this.
I appreciate your response. I imagine licensing and permission can be a challenge. I have seen The Monsters available on competators sites. I have also seen Taste Of the Moon offered for free on same site. So, I thought I would mention theses two to you more specifically, as I believe these two products have already been licensed out to other VTTs. Anyway, I thought it might help your team focus on the ones that I know have been licensed out already.

With regard to Taste of the Moon, I would add that most of these Stories/Modules are $8.99 for PDF, whereas, TofM is $3.99 hence the reason it is being offered elsewhere as Free Content. In any case, I am not trying to tell you how to do your business - just pointing you to two targets that have been licensed to other VTTs which might make it easier for you to negotate your own license deal.
PS: Given StartPlaying is a source that should be available to your staff, you might want to check there to see whose running “Introductory Games” which is were most PRE-GEN charactes come from… the biggest reason for asking is… contrary to what some people might think, not all PRE-GEN stats can be created using base rules and so having a PRE-GEN character to use as base makes it easy to just add them into the process.
In addition, to Auld Sanguine, which you have, The Monsters and Taste of the Moon, are both common ‘newbie’ games. Given the GMs, and definitely, the Players are new… recreating their PRE-GEN here is difficult if it not a pure starting stats character and newer players and storytellers might have trouble recreating their PRE-GEN here.
Obviously, more experienced players and storytellers will prefer to create their own characters from scratch.
