Hi all,
None of these are huge, but I figured I’d write this up in hopes of a little clean-up for the Champion post-remaster.
One weird behavior I’ve noticed is that I have chosen all available selections at level 1 and it’s showing that I have only made 11 of 12 selections. I’m not sure what that’s about and I don’t think it’s correct, but if it is then I have no idea what I could be missing.
The second thing is that I noticed that a lot of the pre-remaster options that have been replaced are still showing up in the builder. I noticed this primarily in the Champion’s Causes, where all of the pre-remaster causes are all still there even though they have all been replaced in Player Core 2. It does indicate which ones are from PC and which ones are from older books, which is helpful, but since I have it set not to show me legacy content if there is a remastered version I would prefer it if I only saw the PC 2 causes, since each of the CRB and APG causes have been replaced by new versions. If I see anything else I’ll update this post. This is my first time really building a Champion so I never noticed this before.
Update 1: I chose the devotion spell Lay on Hands at level 1, and when I got to my fourth level Class feat selections I looked at the feat ACCELERATING TOUCH which is showing “Do Not Meat Prerequisites.” The only prerequisite is “Devotion Spell Lay on Hands,” so as far as I can tell I do actually meat the prerequisites.
Update 2: At sixth level, I’m still seeing both the Attack of Opportunity and Reactive Strike feats. This leads me to believe that the Champion just needs a general clean-up to get the legacy content out of there unless it’s enabled. I’m not sure what the situation is with the other Player Core 2 classes, because I know the ones in PC 1 are relatively free of this kind of clutter. I’m less worried about stuff like this for myself as I am for new players starting Pathfinder through Demiplane. The sheer number of choices available can already be confusing, and it’s worse when some of them are essentially duplicates.
