The Important Note Regarding This Release

  • While the book and it’s contents are released, we are continuing to make improvements. The Beast Lord and Apocalypse Rider Mythic Destinies are not yet fully supported, but we do plan to follow-up with feature additions to ensure you and your animal companions are ready to rock into the annals of history.

Please let us know if you run into any issues or spot something that needs our attention. Now dig in, and have fun with these refreshed rules and options!

Want to make a Mythic character? On the first page of the builder, scroll to the bottom of the middle section and select “Preferences and Rules”. Then in the options, turn “on” Mythic Character. You’ll now be able to get your calling, and explore Mythic Destinies when you reach high level play!

Should the 2 new classes still show in Playtest?

Good catch! The playtest versions should be cycling out as I type.

After selecting the Mythic Magic feat and then choosing 3 spells, they do not appear under the spells tab. Instead, 3 blank lines appear with trashcans. But they cannot be deleted. If I mess with the settings next to that section, I can get the spells to appear for a moment. They disappear on refresh. When they appear, they do not appear to heighten correctly. At 10th level, they are showing heightened to 4th.

As a general question, how are you supposed to roll with mythic proficiency? I see a few feats have dice rolls next to them, but they are incorrect. For example, the Prescience feat is showing a +28 roll button. My level is 10 + 10 mythic proficiency + 2 wisdom should be +22 I think. If that is what the button is for.

  1. Mythic Magic: Thanks, we’ll dig in!
  2. If you have a feature that gives you a Mythic proficiency roll, it should appear as an option–it does look like something funky is happening with Prescience. We’ll take a look and try to include a fix in our next patch!

In the character creator, the Animist class has no options for choosing apparitions to attune to, at least not that I can see. Where should I be looking to attune to them?

Hi orkdorkwithporkfork! First off: Wow, what an incredible username. As you can change your attunements in play, we’ve put the ability to attune to spirits on the character sheet itself! You’ll find it at the very tippy-top of the actions and activities section on the bottom right. Hope that helps!
