What is the difference between a Digital Reader and a Compendium Listing? Isn’t a digital book and a compendium of the rules a little redundant?
From the name alone the Digital Reader is just that, you can read the books digitaly. The compendium is probably a more sorted listing of all the rules of the different books in a single place, with hyperlinks to the corresponding rule.
That’s my guess at the moment, at least
I hear compendium and I think AoN. That format.
Different use cases - some fans want to have the “book” in a digital, easy-to-read on any device format (digital reader), while others want quick access to game rule elements in a searchable/filterable format (compendium listings).
The difference will be pretty clear when we introduce listings into Early Access in the next few weeks.
Thanks!
