What is the Point of the Clan’s Edge Feat?

Unless I’m missing something, it doesn’t seem to allow you to do anything you couldn’t already do or improve what you could already do in any way.

You get 3 actions for the price of 2. You make your 2 attacks normally. But the get to add the +1 to AC for free.

I interpreted this part:

You then use an Interact action to gain the +1 circumstance bonus to your AC from your clan dagger’s parrying trait.

To mean that you have to use another action to gain the bonus.

Yeah the wordings are sometimes hard to follow. So the double >> lets you know the whole thing costs 2 actions.

But that sentence lets you know that activating the AC benefit has the Interact trait for purposes of Attack of Opportunity and the like.
