I am building out a witch in the Character tool and I have the Ceremonial Knife Witch feat (Ceremonial Knife - Feats - Pathfinder 2e Nexus). I would like to represent this in the tool somehow but I haven’t managed to be able to turn a dagger/knife into a wand.
Currently to workaround it I have just added a wand (1st Rank) to get the same effect.
This works fine but I was wondering if I was just missing something obvious!
I don’t believe you’re missing anything. I’m not aware of a way to make a knife or dagger function like a wand but you can absolutely rename the wand to something like “Ceremonial Knife”. You’ll do this by navigating to your Inventory tab, click on the wand and then click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the drawer that pops up. From there you’ll go to Edit Item and you should see an option to edit the name of the item.
Thanks, I thought as much. I went for something similar where i got a Wand, Level 1, and made it no weight/cost. That allowed me to have a primary weapon with the usual attack options.
