Sorry in advance if this isn’t the right place to post about this problem. It looks like it is though.
First, the problem. When I select the “Gap Influenced Paradox” on the Witchwarper class from Starfinder 2e I automatically get assigned the option to choose an additional skill. I get trained proficiency in society as usual but I also get assigned the option to select an additional skill as if I’d already gotten society proficiency from another source.
Second, what I’ve already tried. I’ve granted the character society proficiency through both background and human ancestry options first. When I do this the ancestry and background options behave as normal but the Paradox feature grants two replacement skill options. One as normal in addition to the aberrant selection.
I’ve tried creating a Witchwarper in pathfinder instead, same option appears. I’ve repeatedly selected other Paradox options, the glitch doesn’t happen. I’ve recreated the prompt with the other skills granted by the Paradox feature, the glitch doesn’t happen. I’ve repeatedly deleted the entire character and selected the Witchwarper class with the Gap Paradox feature, the glitch appears. I’ve logged out of the account, closed the browser, and rebooted my computer, the glitch still appears.
Third, how it began. I first noticed the glitch when I was creating my first Witchwarper character today. (If it’s at all relevant, a “Golarian Survivor Heritage Human” with the “Timelost” background.)

Hopefully you can see this image of a brand new character building screen with only five buttons clicked since creation. There are only three items currently selected. None should be granting society proficiency more than the normal one time from the Gap Paradox. Hopefully that helps. Let me know if you need more.
Lastly, why I care. This isn’t really a problem. So my character will be proficient with one extra skill. (read drily) Oh nooo. My character is completely unplayable now. It’s the end of my world. (read normally again) It’s just another frustrating glitch I thought you guys might want to fix.
