06/10/24 - Patch Notes: Bards, Tengu, and More!

Welcome to the first of our new update method! In these regular patches, we’ll be releasing fixes and updates to items on our larger NEXUSes (like Vampire and Pathfinder), and summarizing updates that have been released for smaller NEXUSes in the time since our last update.

Daggerheart

  • Updated Battlebox to correct the type to Solo.
  • Preparations for future patch updates.

Pathfinder

Character Tools

You may need to remove a selection and re-add it to your character to see the new options.

  • Improved Kreighton’s Cognitive Crossover to allow selection of skills, addition of notes in relevant locations, and rollable actions on sheet. (Lost Omens: Pathfinder Society Guide)
  • Added note to Diplomacy skill when Diplomat’s Badge is equipped. (GM Core, Gamemastery Guide)
  • Added muse selection to Multifarious Muse. Note that this does not currently read your current muse, so that will also appear as an option. (Player Core, Core Rulebook)
  • Fixed an issue where the Zoophonia muse was not selectable by the Bard Dedication. (Howl of the Wild, Player Core)
  • Added difficulty class tooltip to the following spells for improved in-sheet referencing: Lingering Composition, Fortissimo Composition, Symphony of the Unfettered Heart (Player Core)
  • Updated the Tengu Feather Fan feat to use some of our new systems. It will now grant an item, and the associated action will add the proper spells based on which other Fan feats you have. (Lost Omens: Ancestry Guide)
  • Fixed the Land-delver’s Chair and Supramachine Chair, which were erroneously adding their bonuses when unequipped. (Howl of the Wild)
  • Added a rollable button to Battle Medicine’s action. (Player Core)
  • Added the passive speed bonus granted by Vivacious Speed for Swashbucklers. (Advanced Player’s Guide)

Compendium

  • Fixed a broken map in Strength of Thousands: Kindled Magic.
  • Fixed a display issue in Backgrounds listing.
  • Fixed a minor typo in Concordance Scout. (Rage of Elements)

Why the change?

With the new cache improvements, we don’t want to break your character’s cache on larger NEXUSes as frequently as we make small improvements and fixes. Instead, we’ll push them all at once on a regular cadence, so that you keep your improved load-times for longer! Read more here.

I noticed a problem!

Thanks for your eagle eyes! Please post about it in the sub-forum for that toolset at your leisure. If it’s a quick fix, we’ll get it in our next patch. Otherwise, we’ll make sure it gets to the right team member for deeper work.
